Terra Sur (Tierra Del Sur) means Land of the South — a tribute to Mexico where our owner Ely was born and raised. With over 25 years of experience working in restaurants, Ely knew exactly what kind of flavors, recipes, and warmth she wanted to bring to her own place. On May 20, 2015 — her birthday — she opened the doors to Terra Sur.
From the beginning, our mission has been to serve food that tastes like home. Nearly everything is made from scratch, like our Terra Sur Margarita (a refreshing mix of cucumbers and cilantro), Terra Sur Special, Birria Tacos, and Al Pastor Tacos.
Ely and her two youngest, Emiliano and Mia, work here daily, and her oldest Julian and his girlfriend Haily still stop by to help. Most of the regulars know them all by name. We are a family friendly casual spot where you can enjoy a comforting meal or unwind with a top-shelf margarita.
What makes Ely most proud is building this business as a strong woman and mother, and now working side-by-side with her kids. Terra Sur is more than a restaurant. It is a full circle story of hard work, family, and passion.
We have many regulars, and we love each and every one of our customers. Our goal is simple: we want you to leave feeling full, happy, and connected—enough to come back time and time again.
